Dasra Philanthropy Week 2016 brought together India’s leading nonprofits, philanthropists, foundations, corporates,  academicians  and  government  representatives  to  discuss,  debate,  build  awareness  and  spark  collaborations for India’s critical development issues.

​DPW  2016  marked  the  7th  edition  of  this  event  which  revolved  around  the  themes  of  sanitation,  health,  adolescent girls’ empowerment and partnerships & collaborations.

DASRA SOCIAL IMPACT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Designed for senior leaders, the Dasra Social Impact Leadership Program, in partnership with Harvard University delivers the insights and skills to help leaders enhance their potential and expand the impact of their social enterprise.
​Dasra brought together a unique group of 35 social sector leaders from organisations such as MAMTA, Magic Bus, Operation Asha, Akanksha Foundation, CINI to form a dynamic learning group to whom the last module, of this 4 module program, was delivered based on the theme of ‘Sustainability & Legacy.’’
     This program gave me the courage to execute my ideas which I thought were beyond my reach. Discussions with my peers gave me fresh perspectives. I am now confident of bringing positive impact on my organisation.

Corporate Day on Achieving Swachh Bharat & CSR Effectiveness

Over 100 corporate leaders, sector experts and senior NGO representatives met at BSE, Mumbai to learn, exchange ideas and attend sessions on Swachh Bharat, CSR effectiveness, non-conventional sanitation financing mechanisms and sanitation for adolescent girls, among others.

Philanthropy Day on Empowering Adolescent Girls & Collaborative Giving

Nearly 200 philanthropists, foundation leaders and NGOs came together to learn about ways to strengthen philanthropy and impact investing and exchange ideas on giving collaboratively. The conversations sparked new ideas and inspired attendees to learn more about causes that are close to their heart.

      When you go deep into the heart of a problem, you realise you cannot solve it alone- collaboration becomes the essence of solution finding. So follow your passion to make change happen, get help from others, innovate, but always have the strong belief that intent matters, and if you want something to change, you can.
